When we think of Zendaya, it’s almost automatic to associate the star with her acting prowess. However, her career also delves into the realm of music. In 2013, she made her musical debut with a self-titled album. In an interview with Jennifer Hudson, the actress discussed her musical journey and didn’t rule out the possibility of returning to singing.
“I love music, and it holds a special place in my heart,” said the star of “Dune 2” (2024) and “Rivals” (2024). “I think being in the music industry maybe didn’t kill the joy of music, but when you mix music and business, it’s sometimes not as enjoyable.”
“I think it was the right moment, and it came [naturally]. Because I enjoy creating for myself, but if I had the time, maybe I’d release something. Don’t get too excited! We’ll see, but perhaps one day,” she added.

Zendaya also commented on her participation in Labirinth’s show at the 2023 Coachella. The two collaborated on the track “All Of Us,” which is featured on the soundtrack of “Euphoria” (2019), a series starring and produced by Zendaya. “I have bad memories of performing live when I was a child,” she said, initially declining the singer’s invitation.
With her multifaceted talents, Zendaya continues to captivate audiences both on screen and in the realm of music, leaving fans eager to see what artistic ventures she’ll pursue next.
