Ienca pointed out Apple’s recent patent for Airpods capable of collecting brain data, raising questions about data usage and product efficacy. Beyond immediate concerns, there’s apprehension about exacerbating societal divides, creating a “two-tiered planet” of enhanced and non-enhanced individuals, potentially eroding human social cohesion as we know it.
