VIDEO: Activist Confronts Actor Alec Baldwin in New York Coffee Shop Over ‘Free Palestine’ Demand

A recent encounter at a coffee shop in New York City between actor Alec Baldwin and an activist has drawn attention after a video of the incident surfaced online. The activist, identified as the host of an anti-fascist podcast, approached Baldwin, 66, and urged him to “say ‘Free Palestine’ one time.”
In the footage, Baldwin, known for his roles in various films and TV shows, refused the request. Despite his refusal, the woman persisted in her demands, leading Baldwin to motion towards the cafe door, signaling for her to leave.
The activist can be heard on the video saying, “Free Palestine, Alec, just one time, and I’ll leave you alone. I’ll leave you alone, I swear,” repeatedly urging him to comply. She continued, saying, “Just say ‘Free Palestine’ one time, one time,” while Baldwin shook his head and tried to usher her out of the door. The woman further expressed her sentiments, saying, “F*** Israel, f*** Zionism.” Watch the video:

The exchange escalated as the activist shifted the conversation, goading Baldwin about the fatal shooting on the set of the film “Rust”, for which he has been charged. “Why did you kill that lady, you killed that lady and got no jail time,” the woman accused.
The incident on the set of “Rust” resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuries to director Joel Souza. The weapons supervisor, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, 26, was sentenced to 18 months in prison earlier in April after being found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. Baldwin, on the other hand, has pleaded not guilty to his own involuntary manslaughter charge, with his trial scheduled for later this year.
During the altercation, Baldwin also asked a coffee shop worker to call the police before eventually punching the camera away.
The video of the encounter has sparked debate on social media, with opinions divided on both Baldwin’s refusal to comply with the activist’s demand and the activist’s persistence and subsequent change of subject to the “Rust” incident.
