Variety’s ‘Actors on Actors’ Earns Fourth Daytime Emmy Nomination
Variety‘s “Actors on Actors” has received its fourth Daytime Emmy nomination.
The PBS SoCal series, which pairs actors for candid conversations about their recent projects and insights into the entertainment industry, was nominated for outstanding arts and popular culture program. Other nominees in the category include “Black Barbie,” “Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame,” “Off Script With The Hollywood Reporter” and “The Swift Effect.”
The 2024 “Actors on Actors” lineup of Emmy contenders featured Leo Woodall (“One Day”) and Nicholas Galitzine (“Mary & George”); Joey King (“We Were the Lucky Ones”) and Taylor Zakhar Perez (“Red, White & Royal Blue”); Quinta Brunson (“Abbott Elementary”) and Jennifer Aniston (“The Morning Show”); Jodie Foster (“True Detective: Night Country”) and Robert Downey Jr. (“The Sympathizer”); Jon Hamm (“Fargo,” “The Morning Show”) and Kristen Wiig (“Palm Royale”); Tyler James Williams (“Abbott Elementary”) and Anthony Mackie (“Twisted Metal”); Anna Sawai (“Sh?gun“) and Tom Hiddleston (“Loki”); Brie Larson (“Lessons in Chemistry”) and Andrew Scott (“Ripley”); Hannah Einbinder (“Hacks”) and Chloe Fineman (“Saturday Night Live”); Elizabeth Debicki (“The Crown”) and Emma Corrin (“A Murder at the End of the World”); Chloë Sevigny (“Feud: Capote vs. The Swans”) and Kim Kardashian (“American Horror Story: Delicate”); and Naomi Watts (“Feud: Capote vs. The Swans”) and Jonathan Bailey (“Fellow Travelers”).

“Actors on Actors” was first nominated for a Daytime Emmy in 2019. The series has previously won both a Daytime Emmy and a Los Angeles Area Emmy Award.
