Toy Story and Levi’s Team Up on Collection for Film’s 30th Anniversary

Thirty years after Woody and Buzz Lightyear changed the animation landscape, Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story” is heading back to the frontier — this time in denim. To commemorate the landmark anniversary of the first computer-animated feature film, Levi’s has partnered with Disney and Pixar for a limited-edition capsule that blends Western workwear with the playful nostalgia of Andy’s toy box.
The Levi’s x Toy Story 30th Anniversary Collection, which officially launches Oct. 2, channels the film’s iconic characters into wearable art, spotlighting Woody’s cowboy spirit and Buzz’s space-age optimism through a mix of jackets, jeans and shirts and accessories. For men, the centerpiece is the Western Jacket in cropped bull denim with custom studs inspired by film motifs — from Woody’s boot logo to the Pizza Planet emblem — and a limited Woody patch on the lining. Elsewhere, the Rodeo Shirt riffs on ecru denim with all-over cow print, “Hey Howdy Hey” embroidery and mother-of-pearl snaps, while the Type III Trucker reworks Levi’s heritage with patch-and-repair detailing and a massive Woody Saddleman graphic emblazoned on the back.
The women’s lineup features the Type II Jacket in rinse indigo featuring a Western silhouette, chain-stitch “Yodelayheehoo” embroidery and a contrast collar. A cow print Western Shirt and Ribcage Bell jeans with smile pockets and “Howdy” embroidery injects Levi’s archival silhouettes with “Toy Story” flair. Denim bottoms carry through the Easter egg detailing, with custom pocket bags featuring Andy’s handwriting and Saddleman graphics that fans will recognize instantly.
No Disney collab would be complete without graphic tees and accessories: highlights include vintage-wash shirts with Woody and Buzz back graphics, a chocolate hoodie with Woody’s Saddleman pose, a denim tote, cow-print pouch, and a three-pack bandana set in character-driven colors. A Woody Belt, complete with an authentic buckle reproduction in leather and brass studding, doubles as both cosplay nod and collector’s piece.
