Apple TV has announced the premiere date for “Shrinking” Season 3.
The third season of the critically-acclaimed dramedy will debut on Jan. 28 with a one-hour premiere episode. New episodes will air weekly thereafter through April 8.
Jason Segel returns to the lead the cast as Jimmy, described as “a grieving therapist who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.”
Along with Segel, the cast of the series includes Harrison Ford, Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley. In addition, series co-creator Brett Goldstein will return in a guest starring role, as will Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick and Cobie Smulders. New additions this season include Jeff Daniels and Michael J. Fox.
“Shrinking” has been well-receive by critics and audiences alike since its debut in 2023. Segel, Ford, Williams, and Urie have all received Emmy nominations for their work on the show, while Segel and Ford have also been nominated for Golden Globes. “Shrinking” was also nominated for best comedy series at the 2025 Emmy Awards.
Today, Apple TV revealed the premiere date and first look at the 11-episode third season of the Emmy Award-nominated comedy series “Shrinking,” starring Emmy Award nominee Jason Segel and multi-award winner Harrison Ford, along with acclaimed performances from stars Christa Miller, Emmy Award nominee Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Emmy nominee Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley. Created by Emmy Award winners Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein alongside Segel, “Shrinking” season three will premiere globally with a one-hour premiere episode on Wednesday, January 28, on Apple TV, followed by one new episode weekly, every Wednesday until April 8, 2026.
The series was created by Bill Lawrence, Segel, and Goldstein. All three are executive producers under their respective overall deals with the series’ studio, Warner Bros. Television. Lawrence executive produces via Doozer Productions alongside Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer. Additional executive producers include Neil Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Randall Winston, Rachna Fruchbom, Brian Gallivan, Ashley Nicole Black and Bill Posley.
