How to Watch the CMAs Online Free
The best in country music will be celebrated tonight. The CMA Awards take place Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. ET and will air live on ABC from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
The best way for cable-cutters to tune into the show is on a live TV streamer such as DirecTV, Hulu + Live TV or Sling TV. It will be available be available for streaming the next day on Hulu.
This year’s top three leading nominees are Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney and Ella Langley, tied with six noms each. They are all set to perform on Wednesday night. Other performers include Zach Top, Kelsea Ballerini, Brandi Carlile, Kenny Chesney, Riley Green, Miranda Lambert, Patty Loveless, Old Dominion, the Red Clay Strays and Chris Stapleton.
Ballerini, a nominee for female vocalist of the year, will premiere a brand new song, “I Sit in Parks.” Green, who’s up for four awards, is set to sing his hit “Worst Way.” Old Dominion, nominated once again for vocal group of the year, will perform a medley of five hits: “Break Up With Him,” “Memory Lane,” “One Man Band,” “Hotel Key” and “Snapback.” The Red Clay Strays, a fellow candidate for vocal group of the year, will play the presumably people-pleasing “People Hatin’.”
The nominees for Entertainer of the Year this year are Wallen, Wilson, Stapleton, Combs and Johnson. All of these are holdovers from last year, except for Cody Johnson, who slips into a slot claimed in the 2024 noms by Jelly Roll. Meanwhile, Top will compete against Langley for new artist of the year and the album of the year category pits Post Malone’s “F-1 Trillion” against full-length releases by Moloney, Top, Wallen and Wilson.
