Disney Greenlights ‘Coven Academy’ Show About Teenage Witches

Disney Branded Television has given a series greenlight to the supernatural dramady “Coven Academy,” which follows a trio of teenage witches-in-training.
The series is a single-camera project from Tim Federle, the creator of the Emmy-winning “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” starring a young Olivia Rodrigo. “Coven Academy” was ordered to pilot in March. Now, the show will premiere on Disney+ and Disney Channel sometime in 2026.
Set in New Orleans, the series promises a “thrilling, witty blend of magic, mystery and teen drama.”
