Bad Bunny Is Most-Streamed Global Artist
Bad Bunny is finishing up the year with more milestones under his belt, becoming Spotify Wrapped‘s top global artist of 2025.
The streaming service unveiled its annual Wrapped campaign early Wednesday morning, revealing new updates to its year-end recaps and releasing its top performers for the year. Bad Bunny led the charge globally on Spotify’s top artists list, coming in at No. 1 ahead of Taylor Swift (No. 2), the Weeknd (No. 3), Drake (No. 4) and Billie Eilish (No. 5). Behind them were Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Arijit Singh and Fuerza Regida.
The Puerto Rican rapper also ruled globally on the top albums of 2025 list with “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS,” followed by the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, Eilish’s “Hit Me Hard and Soft,” SZA’s “SOS Deluxe: Lana” and Sabrina Carpenter’s “Short n’ Sweet.” Most notably, Bad Bunny had two entries on that chart, as “Un Verano Sin Ti” capped the tally at No. 10.
Other major takeaways include Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ “Die With a Smile” crowning the global top songs of 2025 list, ahead of Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather, Rosé and Mars’ “APT.,” Alex Warren’s “Ordinary, and Bad Bunny’s “DtMF.” “The Joe Rogan Experience” led the global and U.S. top podcasts, while Rebecca Yarros’ “Fourth Wing” topped global and U.S. top audiobooks.
On a more regional level, Taylor Swift was the top artist in the United States for 2025, followed by Drake, Morgan Wallen, Kendrick Lamar and Bad Bunny. Lamar’s “Luther” featuring SZA was the top U.S. song of the year, while Wallen’s “I’m the Problem” was No. 1 on the top U.S. albums.
In addition to the year-end charts, Spotify rolled out a revamped Wrapped Experience for 2025, refreshing standard inclusions like top genres and top songs as well as introducing a handful of new features. Among the coronations are listening age, which compares your taste to others in your age group; listening archive that breaks down your most memorable streaming days; and wrapped party, an interactive feature that allows you to compare listening habits and compete with friends.
