Paging, Dr. J.D. Dorian.

A teaser has been released for the “Scrubs” revival series, featuring Zach Braff returning to Sacred Heart as J.D. 15 years after the original hospital-set comedy ended. Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke — who both appear alongside Braff in the teaser — also reprise their roles as Dr. Christopher Turk and Dr. Elliot Reid, respectively.

The official logline for the “Scrubs” reboot reads, “JD (Braff) & Turk (Faison) scrub in together for the first time in a long time- medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way.”

New cast members scrubbing into Sacred Heart include Vanessa Bayer, Joel Kim Booster, Ava Bunn, Jacob Dudman, David Gridley, Layla Mohammadi and Amanda Morrow. Additional returning cast members include Robert Maschio, Phill Lewis, Judy Reyes and John C. McGinley.

“Scrubs” premiered in 2001 on NBC, which aired the series for seven seasons before canceling it. It was then renewed by ABC for an eighth season, which was intended to end the series, though the network later greenlit a ninth season subtitled “Scrubs: Med School” in which only McGinley and Faison stayed on as series regulars. Braff appeared in six out of 13 episodes.

The “Scrubs” reboot will debut on Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. All episodes will be available to stream on Hulu.
